It’s been a while since I did a “Matching Nails & Makeup” post so here we go. I did this look for Mother’s Day. I started by wanting to do neutral/nude eyes and bright red lipstick and nails and ended up with something else. I remembered my new e.l.f. Disney Elsa palette and wanted to use that. I also had to use fake lashes again cos it’s the pollen season. I’ve been having such bad allergies and I’ve been rubbing my eyes (it’s not a smart thing to do, I know) so hard I’ve lost some lashes too.

China Glaze – Daisy Know My Name?
It’s spring and I feel the need to use one bright polish after another. This time I chose China Glaze Daisy Know My Name? from the Summer 2015 Electric Nights collection.
This is a very bright neon yellow with green undertones. Very highlighter yellow and in your face in sunlight. Love it! (more…)
piCture pOlish – Sizzle
Hello, hello! I have a new favorite hot pink! Holy crap this polish is awesome!
piCture pOlish Sizzle by Cosmetic Sanctuary is just amazing in every way. The color is in your face bright hot pink and the formula is just perfection. I mean this practically applied itself. Opaque with two coats and quick dry time. This also has a very subtle scattered holo effect that is only visible in direct sunlight.
It doesn’t get any better than this! (more…)
Jindie Nails – Red Velvet Revolver Re-formulated
Hello lovelies! Let’s try this comeback again. Believe it or not but we have been sick … AGAIN … and this time it was norovirus. It’s still not completely gone but I’m good enough to sit down and do something. I have so so much stuff to show you guys. I would need at least a week to work a few hours a day to get everything photographed, tested, blog posts written etc. Unfortunately I don’t have a few extra hours a day right now but I’ll try my best to get the regular posts going again as soon as possible.
So today I have another Jindie Nails polish for you. This is Red Velvet Revolver Re-formulated. It’s a gorgeous burgundy jelly with gold, silver and holographic glitter. This was actually more opaque than I expected and I got a good result with just two coats. Application was easy and I didn’t fish for the glitter. I did turn the bottle upside down before application as usual. Also no glitter placement was needed. (more…)
My newest Dollish Polish pretties
Hello lovelies! As you have probably noticed I’ve been on a short break. I’ve just felt completely drained out of energy and tried to charge my batteries a little. Yeah, I have too much to do, no charging happening any time soon so I just better get back on the saddle and suck it up ;) I’ll start by publishing the posts when ever and after I get a few more of them ready I’ll start the regular scheduled posts again.
So here’s two new additions to my ever growing Dollish Polish collection. These are from the Pulp Fiction collection and as I write this they are both available at Dollish Polish webstore.
First we have English Mother F*ucker, Do You Speak It?
“soft rose/berry shade has a subtle metallic sheen with a hint of red & pink glass flecks”
This was almost a one coater for me but I applied two. So easy to apply nice and smooth. Dry time was quick too. I wore this for at least 4 days and there was no chipping. Very good quality and lovely color! I also love the fact that I can see the shimmer on the nails too and it’s not only visible in the bottle.
On the photos I’m wearing one coat of Essie Nourish Me, one coat of Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu!, two coats of English Mother F*ucker, Do You Speak It? and HK Girl top coat.
The other one I bought from this collection is Zed’s Dead Baby, Zed’s Dead.
“a rich mossy olive green, loaded with green iridescent flakes & micro flakes”
This one is more jelly like but still opaque with two coats. Also easy to apply and dried fast. Flakes are quite visible on this one and I just love this shade of green. I think this would also make a great base for stamping.
This is one coat of Essie Nourish Me, one coat of Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu!, two coats of Zed’s Dead Baby, Zed’s Dead and HK Girl top coat.

Glam Polish – Fairytale Life Duo (Mei Mei’s Signatures Exclusive)
For a while I’ve been drooling over Glam Polish pretties and I finally got around ordering some. I bought the Fairytale Duo that is Mei Mei’s Signatures exclusive. The polishes are pink Princess Parking Only and purple Beauty Queen. Can I just say OMG!! I love these!
Princess Parking Only is such a bright pink, almost neon and Beauty Queen is the prettiest purple I own now. These are so bright and loud and super pretty at the same time. Both of them also have holo micro glitter on them. Unfortunately I have no sunlight photo of Princess Parking Only but it is a sparkling as Beauty Queen is on direct sunlight.
Formula on both of these was excellent, almost a one coater. So easy to apply and normal dry time. I wore both of these for three days and there was no chipping or staining the nails. You have to rub a little with the remover cos of the micro-glitter but nothing like actual glitter polish.
For both of these manicures I have a coat of Essie Nourish Me, a coat of Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu!, two thin coats of polish and HK Girl top coat.
The duo is not available at the moment but will be restocked in the future. Follow Mei Mei’s Signatures FB page for more information.
If you missed my yesterday’s post please click here and check out the info about the changes to my social media pages. Also if you could be so kind and go like my new FB page I’d greatly appreciate it.

Delush Polish – Orchid Situation
Today I have another lovely Delush Polish shade for you. This is Orchid Situation from 2014 Essence of Summer Collection. This polish is discontinued but is still available on Delush Polish store for a discounted price.
I absolutely love this color! The shade of purple goes really well with my skin tone and the green/turquoise shimmer makes this polish very unique.
Formula on this was excellent. Very easy to apply and opaque with two coats, though longer nails might need three. Dry time was super fast and no chipping in three days. Removal was also easy and there was no staining.
For this manicure I used a coat of Essie Nourish Me, a coat of Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu!, two coats of Orchid Situation and HK Girl top coat. The square studs are from Born Pretty Store.

Moo Moo’s Signatures – Diamond
Well my sick leave is over for now. Little man is much better though still on meds to help him breathe. I have a lot to show you and a lot of stuff coming in so I better get back to business now.
Today I have a real treat for you. Some of you might have heard of Moo Moo’s Signatures and their needle felted animals. Moo Moos are unique handcrafted creations by Mei Mei from Mei Mei’s Signatures.
Now you can also find indie nail polish created by Mei Mei from Moo Moo’s store.
This is their first polish Diamond and it’s amazing!! It’s super sparkly metallic silver holo. It’s very shiny even in dimmer light and the little pieces of silver flakies are really beautiful and sparkling even when the holo effect is not visible. In certain lighting this has almost mirror like metallic shine. This polish is just so gorgeous and definitely not just your average silver holo.
Formula was also perfect and very easy to apply. Two coats was fully opaque and dry time was normal. This stayed on my nails for three days that I wore this mani without chipping and the removal was easy. I loved it!
For this manicure I used a coat of Essie Nourish Me, a coat of Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu!, two coats of Diamond and HK Girl top coat.
Diamond is out of stock at the moment but I have confirmed with Mei Mei that it’ll return with some new colors. For more info you should follow Moo Moo’s Signatures FB page.
Jindie Nails – Baby Love, My Baby Love
Hey! It’s Thursday and it means the weekend is almost here!
Today I have a new Jindie Nails polish to show you. This is Baby Love, My Baby Love, a gorgeous sheer peachy pink glitter polish in an amazing shimmer base. This one has such a glow to it and the mix of glitters is just awesome. Sheer base leaves this looking very light and delicate when worn alone and that makes it perfect for spring and summer. This one is just lovely!
Formula was on a thin side and easy to apply perfectly. Thin formula also makes this good for applying more than one or two coats and with three coats you get a lot of glow and enough glitter. I turned the bottle upside down before application and did a little bit of fishing for the biggest glitter pieces. This applied very evenly and there was no need for glitter placement. I chose to wear this alone cos I love how feminine it looks that way but you can layer this over a creme polish to have an opaque look and make the shimmer pop out even more.
This is a coat of Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu!, three thin coats of Baby Love, My Baby Love and Rica Glossy Glam top coat.
I don’t have a release date for this polish yet so follow Jindie Nails social media accounts and keep your eyes peeled for it.
You can buy Jindie Nails polishes from JindieNails.com or from authorized distributors. You can find the latest news, releases and restock info from their FB and IG.

Sally Hansen Luxe Lace – Eyelet and Ruffle
Today I have another two Sally Hansen polishes to show you. These are white 830 Eyelet and black 840 Ruffle from the Luxe Lace Spring 2015 collection.
Both of these are one color matte hex glitter in different sizes on a clear base. Formula was good and easy to apply. There was no need to fish for the glitter and two coats gave enough coverage. I wanted to play along with the lace theme and used a nude base for these but of course you can layer these with any color you want.
These are simple and very usable glitters. I love the fact that they are matte and just one color and shape. I have quite a few black & white glitters but none in just black or white that are this basic and trust me, sometimes basic is good. If you want to add something more you can always use another glitter together with these or apply these over a gradient base. You can also apply a coat of each if you don’t have and b&w glitter. There’s a lot of different ways to use these!
Both of the polishes have a coat of Essie Beam Up and a coat of Essie Sugar Daddy as a base. Then two coats of glitter and a coat of HK Girl.
With the black Ruffle I also added a coat of OPI In True Stefani Fashion before the black glitter to show how it works with a little added sparkle.
