a england – Dragon

0

I bought this beautiful polish from a england a few months ago, right before the infamous RM fiasco. Dragon is a stunning green polish with scattered holo effect. For me, as a green polish lover this is a must have!

Dragon has a great formula. Application is smooth as butter and for longer nails two coats is enough for opaque result. For shorter nails this might even be a one coater. Dry time was also short with G & G HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat.

This and other a england beauties can be bought online from a england website if you live in UK and if you don’t live in UK click here to find the online store most suitable for you.

ABC Challenge – U is for Under the Sea

14

Time really keeps going way too fast at the moment. I feel like it’s always Wednesday and time for our weekly challenge post. I’m still super busy with the house renovation and I just really want everything to be done already. We are supposed to move in about 3 weeks. We’ll see how that goes ;)

I didn’t have too many choices for U and none of the old polishes really called my name. Instead this new purchase I was dying to try so this week I have another Crazy Polish Lady shade for you. This time it’s Under the Sea from the “Memories in Colors” collection. This is a pale aqua green crelly with turquoise, light green and white glitter. I really love the soft base color and (even if I really love my glitter bombs) it’s a nice change that this isn’t crazy packed with glitter.

This is two normal coats of Under the Sea and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Under the Sea applies really nice and smooth. Two coats is enough for opaque result and dry time is very short. Like most crellys this one also creates a lovely sandwich effect. I have been impressed with every Crazy Polish Lady polish I have tried by far. Excellent quality!

Crazy Polish Lady lives in Portugal and she ships internationally. She doesn’t have her own store yet but you can message her on her Facebook page or email her carvalho.sophie(@)gmail.com and place an order.

Different Dimension – Another Brick In The Wall

0

Today I have the last polish from Different Dimension Echoes collection for you. Another Brick In The Wall is a very pretty glitter topper that goes with a lot of different base colors. This has black, white and pink glitter in different sizes and shapes. There’s also holographic silver glitter that gives this polish a lovely subtle sparkle.

For this manicure I used two coats of Essie First Timer, two coats of Another Brick In The Wall and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Another Brick In The Wall applies well. All the glitter pieces come out easy enough as long as you turn the bottle upside down before application and shake it slightly to mix the bigger glitter pieces along with everything else. This applies nice and even so no need for Glitter Food to smooth it out.

I have now shown you all the six shades from the gorgeous Echoes collection. If you missed some of the posts don’t worry. I’ll have a post up with all the shades and links to the original posts later today.

Different Dimension polishes can be bought from their Etsy-store, they ship internationally. Their polishes are also sold at LlaroweMei Mei’s SignaturesEdgy Polish and Ledouxnuage. Different Dimension can be found from Facebook and Instagram. Be sure to follow for latest news and swatch photos :)

Essie – First Timer

0

Hello my lovelies! I hope everyone is having a great weekend :) Today I have a very quick post for you. This is Essie First Timer from the Resort 2013 collection. First Timer is your basic good quality pale mint green creme polish. Formula is good and application is smooth, opaque in two coats and dries fast. This is a perfect shade for spring and summer and this also makes a great base for glitter (which I’ll show you on tomorrow’s post).

On this mani I used two coats of Essie First Timer and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Different Dimension – Hey You

0

Happy Saturday! Today I have another gorgeous polish from the new Different Dimension Echoes collection. This is Hey You, a pale lilac crelly with pink and vibrant purple glitter. Hey You can be worn alone, without any base color or you can layer it over a lilac/purple creme to get more opaque result. In my opinion this wears beautifully alone. Crelly base is sheer enough to create a gorgeous sandwich effect.

This is three thin coats of Hey You and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Hey You applies really nice and smooth. I didn’t even need to use Glitter Food. Just one coat of top coat was enough. The shade of the polish is gorgeous and the purple glitter sparkles nicely.

Jindie Nails – Hot Pink Floyd

2

Along with the new Spring Chic shades Jindie Nails released Matte Velvet Duo with sTEALth and Hot Pink Floyd. I have already reviewed sTEALth and today I have Hot Pink Floyd for you. Here’s how it’s described on Jindie Nails website “It has a super bright neon pink crelly base with iridescent, color shifting squares and hex in blue/purple/green.  It also has bits of real silver flakes throughout!”. Like in sTEALth, there’s lovely depth to this and it’s absolutely stunning with and without top coat.

This is three thin coats of Hot Pink Floyd alone and the last two photos have G & G HK Girl top coat.

With G & G HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat
With G & G HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat
Hot Pink Floyd has the same great formula as sTEALth and application is really smooth. Two coats would be enough for shorter nails but my longer one needed three thin coats.

Matte Velvet Duo is limited time so get yours while these pretties are still around!

Crazy Polish Lady – Cosmic Love

2

Today I have another Crazy Polish Lady pretty for you. This is Cosmic Love, a deep teal-ish blue crelly with holographic micro-glitter. This is one of the eight shades from the “Colors are the music of my life” collection. I now have five of the polishes in this collection and I feel like I really need to get the remaining three shades too. All the polishes I have from her are absolutely gorgeous!

This is two coats of Cosmic Love and G & G HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat.

Cosmic Love applies well and is opaque in two coats. Dry time is fast and removal is not too bad. In this one the holographic micro-glitter is quite visible and the color is very beautiful. Cosmic Love reminds me of a starry night sky. Just stunning!
Crazy Polish Lady lives in Portugal and she ships internationally. She doesn’t have her own store yet but you can message her on her Facebook page or email her carvalho.sophie(@)gmail.com and place an order.

ABC Challenge – T is for Time (Different Dimension)

13

Happy hump day again! Today it’s already time for letter T (and maybe a time to start thinking about what our next challenge will be :P). So for letter T I chose a polish called Time. This is from the new Different Dimension Echoes collection. All the six shades in this collection are very beautiful and unique. Time is another gorgeous glitter topper you can use with a lot of different base colors. Again you can see on the photos how the holographic stars and big circles change color with the angle of the light giving this polish amazing sparkle and glow.

This mani is two coats of China Glaze No Way Jose, two coats of Time and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Time applies like your usual indie glitter bomb. I had no issues with it. You just have to remember to turn the bottle upside down before application to help the glitter come out of the bottle easier. Also remember to allow each coat to dry for a bit before applying the next coat. Otherwise you might start dragging the bigger glitters out of place.

Delush Polish – Glamazon

0

A little while ago I received my first order from Delush Polish indie brand. I got two polishes in that order. I have already shown you the gorgeous Opalesque and today I have Glamazon for you. This is very bright rasberry pink crelly with a lot of small glitter and beautiful shimmer. This color is quite sexy and glamorous! The last photo shows the beautiful multicolor/holographic shimmer this has.

This is two coats of Glamazon and two coats of G & G HK Girl top coat.

Glamazon has a bit thick almost gel like formula. Application was smooth and easy though and two coats was enough for opaque results. This is a bit of a top coat eater so you might want to use a product like Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food or two generous coats of your favorite top coat to make sure you end up with a smooth result.
Delush Polish has an Etsy store and they ship internationally. You can also follow Delush Polish on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.
