There’s still a good amount of snow on the ground here in Finland so it’s a perfect time of the year to wear blue polishes. I just always associate blue polish with winter. I did another very quick and easy nail art thingy too. That’s all I have time for nowadays. My youngest one is a real life human tornado and when he is up it is completely impossible for me to do my nails. So quick and easy manis it is :)

For this manicure I used Essie Millionails and Glisten & Glow Stuck On Blu! as base coats. A coat of Essie Pret-a-Surfer on my thumb, index and middle finger nails and two coats of Essie Saltwater Happy on my ring and pinky finger nails. The shine is provided by HK Girl top coat.

Both Essies are from Summer 2015 Peach Side Babe collection.

After the manicure was completely dry I added some gold striping tape (from eBay) on the Saltwater Happy nails and sealed them in with another coat of HK Girl. This is usually enough to keep the tapes in place on my nails but this time I managed to rub the nail oil on my cuticles with such passion that I also got the end of the tapes to come loose the next day. So note to self: Two coats of top coat next time!

I’m really growing to like these nubbins. This seriously the first time ever I’m actually liking my nails being short.
