Jindie Nails – sTEALth

4

Jindie Nails recently released Velvet Matte Duo polishes and here’s first of the two, sTEALth. Jen describes this polish as: “Matte, velvet finish deep teal crelly with blue, purple and green iridescent and color shifting glitters”. I LOVE this color! It is amazing! There’s depth matte polishes don’t usually have and when you add the top coat this is jaw dropping gorgeous! It’s like having two polishes in one, matte and super glossy. Can’t beat that!

This is three coats of sTEALth, first alone as matte polish and last two photos with top coat.

With top HK Girl Super Shiny + Fast Drying top coat

sTEALth has a very good formula and application was flawless. For shorter nails two coats would be enough but my longer nails needed three for opaque result. This stunning beauty is limited edition so get yours while you can!!

Different Dimension – Wish You Were Here

6

Today I have another Different Dimension polish from their new Echoes collection. This is Wish You Were Here and this polish, ladies and gentlemen is so blindingly bling it might be lethal out in the sunlight ;) Camera couldn’t even capture all the sparkle this one has but trust me, it’s amazing! On the photos you can also see how the large holographic circle glitter changes color depending on the angle of the light. I have one blurred shot to show you the amazing rainbow colors this has.

This is one coat of Color Club Where’s The Soiree? black creme, two thin coats of Wish You Were Here, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and HK Girl top coat.

Wish You Were Here applies like your usual glitter bomb. I’m so used to these types of polishes nowadays that I had no issues with the application. I turned the bottle upside down for a bit before applying each coat and even the big circles came out just fine. This polish is absolutely stunning and it kinda gives my nails a certain galaxy manicure feeling.

Different Dimension polishes can be bought from their Etsy-store, they ship internationally. Their polishes are also sold at LlaroweMei Mei’s SignaturesEdgy Polish and Ledouxnuage.

Different Dimension – Money

4

I got the new Echoes collection from Different Dimension. This collection has six amazing shades, both glitter toppers and polishes you can wear alone. Echoes is inspired by Pink Floyd. I’m a little ashamed to admit I don’t know too many Pink Floyd songs but this collection has actually inspired me to go listen to a few.

I’ll show you these polishes one by one and in the end I’ll do a recap post with the whole collection. I’m gonna start with Money. This pale green crelly has a lot going on when it comes to glitter but everything goes together perfectly. I love green polish and the sparkling glitter in this polish made me stare at my nails and just sigh cos Money looked so beautiful.

Money has a good formula and it was easy to apply smoothly. I turned the bottle upside down for a bit before application and between each coat to help to get the bigger glitter circles out. Crelly base on Money is thin and sheer enough to create an awesome sandwich effect. This polish has great depth and glow.
This was three thin coats of Money, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat.
Different Dimension polishes can be bought from their Etsy-store, they ship internationally. Their polishes are also sold at Llarowe, Mei Mei’s Signatures, Edgy Polish and Ledouxnuage.

Jindie Nails – Princess Consuela Banana Hammock

0

I have a habit of saving  the best for last. It could be food on my plate, candy in a bag or in this case, nail polish. Looking at bottle and swatch photos of Jindie Nails Spring Chic collection Princess Consuela Banana Hammock was the most interesting to me. I mean bright yellow glitter bomb! How can you not love that?

This is how this beauty is described on Jindie Nails website: “PCBH is a bright neon yellow crelly with a mix of matte satin red, orange, neon pink, neon orange, neon dark orange hex plus matte red tiny red stars.  Opaque in 2-3 coats”. Sounds great, right? And then there’s the awesome name :D Maybe some of you wonder what that is about. I love the tv show Friends. That show never gets old and watching it always puts me in a good mood :) Princess Consuela Banana Hammock is a name that Phoebe changed her name into in one of those funny, funny episodes. So enough with the babble and on with the photos…

This is three thin coats of Princess Consuela Banana Hammock, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and HK Girl top coat.

Princess Consuela Banana Hammock’s formula is a bit on the thinner side so application was really easy. I turned the bottle upside down before application and in between of applying each coat to get the glitter out easily. The stars took a little bit of fishing but all the other glitter pieces came out nicely.

I had high hopes for this polish and it really met all my expectations. The color combination is great and just screams summer! Usually yellow polishes are such pain in the butt to apply and the end result is hardly ever worth the trouble. That’s not the case with this polish. Application was easy and the end result is definitely worth fishing for some stars ;)

ABC Challenge – S is for Strawberry Swing

26

For this week I had a plenty of choices but I was also dying to try out my new Crazy Polish Lady polishes. Luckily one of them is called Strawberry Swing ;) This is from the “Colors are the music of my life” collection which has eight awesome shades.

Strawberry Swing is pink perfection in the bottle! Application is flawless. I hardly even needed to do any clean up. Two coats is enough for opaque result. This is packed with holographic micro-glitter so it dries a little rough and top coat is definitely needed. I absolutely LOVE this color! Bright, clean pink without being neon and the micro-glitter gives it the extra little twist of goodness.

I have previously tried two other polishes from this collection and both had the same excellent quality and formula this one has. Crazy Polish Lady lives in Portugal and she ships internationally. She doesn’t have her own store yet but you can message her on her Facebook page or email her carvalho.sophie(@)gmail.com and place an order.

Jindie Nails – Fun Intended

2

I have two more polishes to show you from the new Spring Chic collection from Jindie Nails and here’s the first of those two, Fun Intended. Here’s how it’s described on Jindie Nails website: “Fun Intended is a bright pastel neon pink crelly with a mix of neon pink, neon orange, metallic silver, metallic orange, metallic magenta & tiny white stars, hex, short bars & dots plus neon pink butterflies”. This will also be available without the stars later on.

Fun Intended is super cute and glossy bubblegum pink glitter bomb. I absolutelty adore this! It’s so girly and the color combination is just delicious. I’m a big fan of star shaped glitter so different colored stars in this are just perfection for me. Fun Intended applies well and glitter pieces come out of the bottle easily as long as you remember to turn it upside down for a bit before application.

Delush Polish – Opalesque

4

I recently placed my first order with indie brand Delush Polish and my pretties arrived in about a week.  Today I have the first one of the two, Opalesque to show you. This is a pale mint-y crelly with opalescent glitters and beautiful subtle shimmer.

I’m really impressed with the quality of this polish. The application was absolutely flawless and two coats was enough for opaque result. This applied so smoothly that I didn’t even need to use Glitter Food and I use that with 95% of my glitter polishes.

On the photos I have two coats of Opalesque and HK Girl top coat.

This was my first Delush Polish order but I can already tell you it wasn’t the last. Delush Polish has an Etsy store and they ship internationally. You can also follow Delush Polish on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Jindie Nails – Nude Beach

0

Happy Saturday everyone :) Today I have Jindie Nails Nude Beach for you. This one is again in from the new Spring Chic collection and will be available without the star shaped glitter later on. Jen describes this as “Nude crelly base with a mix of metallic sand colored sparkling hex,  iridescent hex, matte white hex & tiny stars plus and abundance of neon orange, neon blue, neon pink, neon purple, neon green & neon yellow hex in several  sizes”.

I’m so sorry about my dry, horrible cuticles on this photo. Removing old wall papers, constantly washing my hands, having paint all over my hands, etc. has really done it’s job. I spent last night drowning my hands in lotion, cuticle balm and oils. Maybe today I actually will remember to wear gloves :P

Nude Beach applies well and as long as you remember to turn the bottle upside down for a bit before application all the glitter comes out easily. I really like the sand-y nude base color with neon glitters.

This photo doesn’t really do this polish any justice and I will be revisiting this one later on. I filed some length off my nails and now I feel like they are a little bit too short for my taste :P So new photos coming when my nails grow back a little and my cuticles look a little less like sandpaper.

Jindie Nails – HipStar

2

Today I have another polish from the new Spring Chic collection, HipStar. Jindie Nails website description for this polish says that it’s “Periwinkle crelly with a mix of neon pink, neon purple, metallic silver hex, stars & dots”. This will also be available without the stars later on. HipStar was another winner for me! Color combination is great and I love the soft base color.

HipStar has a good formula and application was easy. Just remember to turn the bottle upside down and shake it lightly before application and the glitter pieces come out just fine. For this manicure I used three thin coats of HipStar, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat.

Jindie Nails – Pickled Tink

8

Today I have a limited edition polish for spring 2013 from Jindie Nails. This is Pickled Tink and oh man, I’m in love!!! Here’s how Jen describes it ” It has a bright hot, neon pink jelly base that can be fully opaque to a crelly finish in about 3 coats.  It has silver and light pink metallic tiny stars, silver and light pink smaller dots and light pink holographic larger dots.  It also has bits of blue, green and purple iridescent, glowing glitters (does not actually glow, just appears to light from within)”. She also calls it magical and that it is. I love this shade so much! It really glows and the shade of pink is just perfect!

Pickled Tink is again on the thinner side and application is flawless. I did turn the bottle upside down for a bit before applying each coat. That helps to get the stars and larger dots out easily. Dry time is also fast. Pickled Tink is juicy and squishy looking perfection in the bottle!
