Jindie Nails – Barbie Is Dreaming (Mei Mei’s Signatures exclusive)

8

Hello my fellow polish enthusiasts! Today I have a new Jindie Nails, Barbie Is Dreaming for you. This polish is sold only on Mei Mei’s Signatures. Barbie Is Dreaming is a very pale pink crelly with a lot of glitter. This one is so very cute and girly. Colors are perfect for spring and summer too. Neon hexes, star shaped glitters in three different colors, etc. It’s just so much fun :D I really like the baby pink base on this one. Jen does these crelly bases so well :)

Barbie Is Dreaming applies like a normal indie glitter bomb, no issues here. There’s no need to fish for the glitter and even the stars come out of the bottle very easily. On the photos I have three coats of Barbie Is Dreaming, one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat.

So this one can only be bought from Mei Mei’s Signatures and there’s also many other exclusive shades from other indie brands. I just bought a couple of more myself the other day ;)

Jindie Nails – Snow Angels

6

Today I have yet another Jindie Nails polish to show you. What can I say, I’m hooked on these gorgeous glitter bombs :D This is Snow Angels, a lovely pale baby blue crelly packed with glitter. Like many other Jindie’s, the glitter in this is various shapes, sizes and colors all blended together into a perfect combo. I’m still wearing this as I type this post and I keep checking out my nails. I love the sparkle and color combination this polish has. Very beautiful!

Snow Angels is packed with glitter so you have to pay attention to the application. Application is not difficult though, just a usual indie glitter bomb type. Two coats was enough for my nails and the glitter came out of the bottle easily. Like my other Jindies this also dries pretty fast. On the photos I have two coats of Snow Angels, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and HK Girl fast drying top coat.

I’ve also been thinking about maybe making a tutorial of how I apply these glitter polishes as well as a post about my favorite combination of products to achieve the best possible result.

You can purchase Jindie Nails polishes from their webstore that opens before next restock. You can also buy them from the Etsy-store (closed at the moment) as well as LlaroweMei Mei’s Signatures and Ninja Polish. You can find the latest restock and other info from their Facebook page. You can also follow Jindie Nails on Twitter and Instagram. Jen has already given us a little taste of the upcoming spring collection on Jindie Nails FB and Instagram pages.

Jindie Nails – Princess Breath

4

Wow! It’s Monday again! Time goes so fast I feel like it’s Monday every other day instead of once a week. For me it’s not that bad though cos I’m staying at home with my two little girls so it’s like any other day for me really. Ok, enough with the babble and on to today’s polish which is the last of the three new Jindie Nails polishes I have to show you, Princess Breath. Ladies and possibly a few gentlemen, this is a stunner! So much shiny glitter on this one, it just sparkles on your nails. So beautiful! Another “I need a full size bottle” shade for me.

Princess Breath is a pale mint-y green crelly that applies very nice and smooth, no need to fish for the glitter either. I did turn the bottle upside down for a bit before application though. Two coats is enough for an opaque result but I added a thin third coat to get the shiny glitter to show. I press down with the brush just hard enough to wipe the polish off of those glitter pieces so you can really see them shine. To be able to do that you have to let the first two coats dry for a bit or the bigger glitter on the second coat starts dragging when you press the brush down harder. I really love this polish! This is the kind of a shade that can cause you to crash into things while staring at your nails and not looking where you going ;)

On the photo there is three coats of Princess Breath, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and Poshe fast drying top coat. Photos are taken with daylight bulbs since the sun decided not to show up at all while I was wearing this.

You can purchase Jindie Nails polishes from their webstore that opens before next restock. You can also buy them from the Etsy-store (closed at the moment) as well as LlaroweMei Mei’s Signatures and Ninja Polish. You can find the latest restock and other info from their Facebook page. Jindie Nails – Purple People Pleaser

0
I hope everyone is having a lovely Friday :) Weekend is almost here! Today I have another Jindie Nails polish for you, Purple People Pleaser. After this I still have a couple of more to show you plus a re-visit to Barney Blew Up. My photos of that are on the short nails and I wasn’t too happy with those photos anyways. It’s also such a cute polish that it would be a crime not to use it!

Purple People Pleaser is a sheer shimmer-y polish with a lot of blue, purple, white, black, etc. glitter in different shapes and sizes. This is at it’s best layered on top of a colored base. I also swatches this alone cos it can be worn that way too. The cold blue shimmer on the base can also make your nails appear a bit more white too. The formula is the usual normal indie glitter. Applies smooth and even. This is the usual, great Jindie Nails quality.

On the first set of photos I have three coats of Purple People Pleaser, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and Inm Super Fast Drying top coat. On the next one I have layered a coat of Purple People Pleaser over two coats of OPI Pedal Faster Suzy! as an example. Then to my actual manicure and I loved the way this looked. The green base really made the purple glitter pop! Such a fresh looking combination. On that I used two coats of China Glaze Def Defying and one generous coat of Purple People Pleaser plus Inm Super Fast Drying top coat. Purple People Pleaser would also pair up perfectly with a gold base color. This applies so nicely that I think I’m gonna use this as a gradient glitter over gold sometime.

I believe there is going to be more previews to look forward to today.

Jindie Nails – Silent Night

2
Today I have a bit different Jindie Nails polish for you called Silent Night. So yes, Jindie Nails doesn’t only make those light colored crelly based glitterbombs we all love so much. There are also other creations like this stunning deep blue jelly polish with different shapes of glitter including stars and crecent moons. This polish has such amazing depth and I had a hard time trying to capture the true beauty of it on the photos. Yet another gorgeous polish that is totally unique in my collection.

Formula is good quality and dries fast. Due to the bigger glitter pieces on this polish, application can be a little trickier than usual, but not too difficult. Before you start, I again suggest you turn the bottle upside down for a bit and mix the polish lightly. That way the glitter comes out of the bottle easier. Applying these indieglitterbombs can sometimes take a little more patience and you have to be more careful than with your average shimmer or creme polish. Though I don’t think applying indies is too hard at all and the end result is definitely worth it.

Silent Night is a jelly so you have to build it opaque. I started with one normal thickness coat and I didn’t really try to get much glitter on the first coat. For the second coat I took a fair amount of polish for each nail and really went for the glitter too. I tend to tip the bottle a little and take a good amount of polish on to the brush. That way I usually get enough glitter too. I sometimes separate and place the bigger glitter if needed with the second coat. Third coat is to make it all even and smooth looking. I allow each coat to dry for a bit to avoid dragging the bigger glitters out of place while applying the next layer. You should always use a light hand while applying these glitter polishes and not press the brush against your nail too heavily.

On the photos I have three coats of Silent Night, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and Inm Super Fast Drying top coat. This polish is from 2012 Santa Claws collection and it has this certain peaceful Christmas night magic to it. When the light hits your nails just right this holographic glitter shines in the middle of the deep blue jelly base like a starry night. What can I say? Stunning, beautiful, breathtakingly gorgeous!

You can purchase Jindie Nails polishes from their Etsy-store (closed at the moment) as well as LlaroweMei Mei’s Signatures and Ninja Polish. You can find the latest restock and other info from their Facebook page. Jindie Nails is opening their new online store in a near future. You can also follow Jindie Nails on Twitter and Instagram. You should also keep your eyes open for their new Spring collection!!!

Jindie Nails – Happy Dance

2
Happy Saturday everyone! Today I have yet another Jindie Nails glitter for you. This is Happy Dance. White crelly based glitter polish that has bright red, turqoise, lavender, pastel mint-y green, purple and what not hex glitter in it along with some square glitter and turqoise bar glitter. This is another amazing one!

I have to admit, when I saw the bottle I just thought “nice” but I didn’t get super excited. Once I actually did a manicure with this I fell in love. This is such a fresh, bright and fun looking polish! Jen from Jindie Nails is a genius when it comes to creating these crelly based glitter bombs. I can’t think of anything that I’d change with this polish either. This one lives up to it’s name and is indeed a happy polish! It looks happy and makes me happy! Another reason why I love these indie glitters so much is that they are like “instant nailart”. Every nail is different and unique, your manicure is so alive and fun!

Happy Dance has an excellent formula. This applies thin and smoothly plus it dries fast. Crelly base is opaque enough to cover the nail line and sheer enough to leave the glitter showing through with a sandwich effect. The last coat also leaves the glitter showing nice and bright if you apply it thin enough. On this mani I used three thin coats of Happy Dance and Inm Super Fast Drying Top Coat. I have a UV-gel coating on my nails to protect them so I have no need for a base coat.

Jindie Nails – Taste Like Snozberries

10
Today I have the second new Jindie Nails polish out of the three, Taste Like Snozberries. This is also crelly based as well as Rave. Lovely light purple crelly base has a tons of different kinds of glitter. This sparkles a lot more IRL than my photos show. Unfortunately sun refused to come out well enough to get the proper sunlight photos of this one. This was also quite difficult to capture true to color, but I think I got pretty close. Real life this is a pretty bright light purple. It’s like bottled blueberry yogurt with a hint of neon and a fistful of glitter ;D

Application was normal good Jindie glitter. I didn’t have any problems with this. Dry time was also short. As usual I turned the bottle upside down for a bit and rolled it gently for a few times before application. On the photos I have three thin coats of Taste Like Snozberries, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and a coat of Inm Super Fast Drying top coat.

You can purchase Jindie Nails polishes from their Etsy-store (closed at the moment) as well as LlaroweMei Mei’s Signatures and Ninja Polish. Jindie Nails – Rave

14

Hello my lovelies! It’s Monday once again! I spent yesterday celebrating my daughter’s 3rd birthday. The party was two weeks late cos of the influenza, but better late than never. We had fun and I ate way too much cake. We still have a ton of leftovers so I’ll probably eat too much cake today too ;D

Today I have another Jindie Nails polish for you, this time it’s Rave. This is one of the three new shades and I have Taste Like Snozberries and Princess Breath to show you too later this week. Rave is a white crelly with a lot of neon hexglitter in different sizes and colors. There’s also magenta circle glitter in two different sizes. This polish has both matte and metallic shine glitter in it. This is such a bright, fun polish and it almost looks like splatter nails to me.

The formula is normal, good Jindie formula. Easy to apply and no special tricks needed. I did turn the bottle upside down and rolled it a few times before starting the application. After this glitter came out just fine, no fishing needed. On the photo I have three coats of Rave, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and a coat of Inm Super Fast Drying top coat. This didn’t necessarily need Glitter Food, but I like the silky smooth surface it creates so I use it with most of my glitter polishes now. Dry time was normal. I can’t say much about the wear time since I have the gel coating on my nails and that helps any polish to stay good for at least two weeks without chipping.

Removal was the normal glitter removal process. Since I have the UV-gel coating on to protect my nails I have figured out a new way to remove glitter polishes. First I take acetone free nail polish remover and remove all the polish that comes off easily. Then I wet the surface of the nail and remaining glitter pieces using a little more nail polish remover. After that I take a metallic cuticle pusher and simply push the glitter off the nail. I do this one nail at a time. After all the glitter is pushed off I wipe the possible remains off with polish remover and then I’m done. This doesn’t seem to damage the UV-gel at all. I don’t need to waste a ton of polish remover and cotton pads rubbing off the glitter. The best thing of all,  I don’t need to soak my nails and skin in acetone. I do NOT recommend this method to natural nails since you might end up damaging the surface of your nails. I can do a quick tutorial post with photos/video of this method if my explanation wasn’t clear enough.

You can purchase Jindie Nails polishes from their Etsy-store (closed at the moment) as well as LlaroweMei Mei’s Signatures and Ninja Polish. You can find the latest restock and other info from their Facebook page. Jindie Nails is opening their new online store in a near future. News about that can be found from their FB-page. Jindie Nails – Baby Doll

2
Today I have another Jindie Nails polish for you and this time it’s Baby Doll. I got quite a few of Jindie Nails polishes a few days ago and I really want to show them all to you before the next restock. Jindie Nails is opening a new online store and soon you can buy these babies there.

Baby Doll has a ton of glitter in different shapes, colors and sizes. There’s so much going on again that I won’t even try to write it all down, I’ll rather let the photos speak for themselves. Overall this is a very beautiful and delicate looking polish. Perfect for those summertime parties when you want your nails to look awesome and stunning but can’t really wear bright colors. I totally fell in love with this one and I need to buy a full size bottle sometime soon :P

You can get out the full potential of this polish by layering it over black. Jawdroppingly gorgeous! The black base really brings out everything in this polish. You can see the amazing shimmer on the sheer base too. I’m going to try this on a galaxy manicure soon. Amazing!

Application was normal and I had no problems. I didn’t need to fish out the glitter either. I recommend turning the bottle upside down for a bit before application and shaking/rolling it lightly. You should also let each layer dry for a bit before applying another one. This way the bigger glitter pieces won’t start dragging and moving with the following coat of polish.

On the first set of photos I have two coats of Baby Doll over a coat Essie Beam Up whitening base coat, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and Sally Hansen Diamond Shine top coat. Photos are taken in sunlight and also using daylight bulbs.

On the second set I have two coats of Baby Doll over a coat of Color Club’s Where’s The Soiree? black creme. I topped it off with a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and Sally Hansen Diamond Shine top coat. Photos are taken using daylight bulbs.

You can purchase Jindie Nails polishes from their Etsy-store (which is sometimes closed) as well as LlaroweMei Mei’s Signatures and Ninja Polish. You can find the latest restock and other info from their Facebook page.

Jindie Nails – Be Someone Cute

10

Is anyone actually surprised when I tell you I have another indie glitter for you today? ;) This blog seems to be turning into an indie polish blog and I love it LOL

Jindie Nails Be Someone Cute has tiny black, white and pink matte glitter on a sheer base with a cold pink flash. My eyes and camera can also pick up something purple-ish in there.

This polish is thin for a glitter polish and applies smooth as butter. This is sheer so I didn’t even try to get it opaque on my long nails. I decided to layer it with OPI Pedal Faster Suzi! cold pink shimmer polish. This has a good coverage though and I think it’ll be opaque on shorter nails with three thin coats. On the photos I have two coats of OPI Pedal Faster Suzi! and two thin coats of Be Someone Cute. I finished the manicure with a coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Shine top coat.

Be Someone Cute creates a fun effect on your nail and the tiny glitter is a cool change from all the chunky glitter bombs I’ve been wearing lately. This also looks great when you use it as an effect polish and only apply it to half of the nail.

You can purchase Jindie Nails polishes from their Etsy-store (which is sometimes closed) as well as LlaroweMei Mei’s Signatures and Ninja Polish. You can find the latest restock and other info from their Facebook page. Jindie Nails is also launching their own webstore which should be working by the next restock. Follow their FB-page for more information about that too.
