Jindie Nails – A History of Violets

2

Here we go again with another Jindie Nails glitter topper from the Glitter Topper Mod Quad collection. I have previously reviewed Sparkle on the Vine and Dancing with the Stars. The fourth and final shade Eclectric is also coming up soon :)

So this is A History Of Violets and here’s how it’s described on the Jindie Nails website: “It has a mix of white, periwinkle, lilac, lavender, wine, opaque matte burgundy, opaque matte light purple, opaque matte dark purple hex, dots, stars, short bars (just a few). squares and lots and lots of purple and silver shimmer throughout.   This polish features a few new glitters I haven’t used before, including matte gray and white dots & moons”.

On this manicure I used two coats of Essie Lilacism, two coats of A History of Violets, coat of Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Application was excellent, no issues. Glitters applied nice and evenly, no fishing, dabbing or placing needed. This is a very pretty glitter topper and I’m loving the colors for fall time. Layering this over an icy blue will make it perfect for winter too.

This will be available soon at jindienails.com!

Jindie Nails – 1 Year Anniversary Duo

0

Jindie Nails had their first anniversary on July 16th. To celebrate the occasion Jen created the Anniversary Duo that is nothing short of awesome. I know I always say this BUT I absolutely love these polishes :D

Let’s start with the blue one, Anniversary Seaquins. This has an amazing dusty, smoky blue base packed with shimmer and all kinds of glitter. Application was just perfect. No issues at all. To my surprise this was almost opaque on two coats. I did apply the third one though. The base color is just beautiful and will be great for fall and winter too. This is the kind of the shade you can wear a year round.

This is three thin coats of polish and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Gorgeous, right?

Aaaand then there is the magnificent Purple Universary. I LOVE circle glitter and jellies so you can imagine my joy when I saw the first bottle shots not to mention actually holding the bottle. This is so amazing! The deep purple, true jelly base and all that circular glitter. Aaaahh! This is definitely on the top three of the most beautiful polishes I own. This is like universe on your nails.

The application on this was also perfect. No problems and all the glitter came out of the bottle easily, no fishing needed. This is three coats and it looks gorgeous but for the next time I wear this I have an application game plan ;) I’ll do first coat without any glitter, second with glitter, thin third coat without again and then the last one with glitter. That’ll help me build even more depth to this stunning beauty :)

So this is three coats of Purple Universary with Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Jindie Nails – Strawberry Cupcake

4

Here’s an older Jindie Nails shade for a change. This is the lovely Strawberry Cupcake. It was released in 2012 Winter collection.

This is how it’s described on Jindie Nails website “It has a pastel pink crelly base with an assortment of shaped glitters like round, square and hex in teal, matte pastel lavender, metallic berry, matte grape, metallic turquoise, matte pastel aqua, matte white, metallic deep teal, metallic lavender and periwinkle.  It also has a gorgeous aqua/turquoise shimmer.  Opaque in 2-3 coats and meant to be worn on its own”.

Strawberry Cupcake is absolutely adorable and such a cute, girly shade. For some reason the shade seems to lean a bit to purple-ish against my skin tone.

This is three thin coats of Strawberry Cupcake, a coat of Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Strawberry Cupcake applies very smoothly and evenly. Glitter comes out of the bottle without any problems.  I just absolutely love the color combination on this!

Jindie Nails – Dancing with the Stars

2

And here we go again :) This time, as promised, I have another brand new glitter topper from Jindie Nails. This is part of the Mod Quad collection.

On Jindie Nails website Dancing with the Stars is described as: “An assortment of shapes & colors of glitters including opaque matte baby pink, neon pink, white, matte opaque gray, black, silver holographic and matte opaque white diamonds, stars, dots, short bars (just a few), hex and a few hearts and butterflies.  It has neon pink stars, hearts and butterflies!”

This is super cute and girly! You can layer this with a lot of different base colors. I chose bubblegum pink but I’m also going to try this out with baby blue and pale lilac in the future.

This is OPI Chic From Ears To Tail, two thin coats of Dancing with the Stars, a coat of Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Dancing with the Stars is packed with glitter but it’s also easy to apply. I wanted to keep on adding more and more and ended up dabbing more glitter on few spots after applying two coats. It’s so pretty and I just couldn’t help myself :D I turned the bottle upside down before application to help get out the bigger glitter pieces. This didn’t work for the butterflies though and they decided not to work with me on this and stayed in the bottle. I could see them pretty little pink things taunting me through the glass though. I’ll get them next time :P

Jindie Nails – Sparkle on the Vine

4

Today I have another new glitter topper from Jindie Nails. This is Sparkle on the Vine and oh boy does it truly sparkle. This is so very bling and out in the sunshine it’s almost blinding. Absolutely gorgeous!!

Here’s what Jen has to say about it: “It has lots of purples, pinks and greens in a clear base loaded with multiple shades of shimmer.  The glitters are dots, squares, shreds, hex & diamonds.    This polish features new glitters I haven’t used before including lilac metallic extra large dots, lilac holographic large dots, opaque kelly green dots, opaque baby pink dots, violet metallic medium dots, large magenta metallic squares, teal diamonds, small lilac holographic dots & more.  This polish has a clear base meant for layering.  It’s packed with glitter and you should have pretty full coverage in about 2-3 coats tops”.

This one really is packed with glitter and it’s so sparkling. I wanted to keep adding more and more cos it looked so amazing. Imagine the sparkle on the photos x100 and you get some kind of idea of what this glitter topper really looks like. Amazing!

I layered this over my yesterday’s a england Tristam manicure. So this is two coats of Tristam, two coats of Sparkle on the Vine, a coat of Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Sparkle on the Vine applies well but some placing of a larger glitters might be needed. I turned the bottle upside down before application to get the bigger glitters out easier. This just a perfect glitter topper that goes with a lot of different base colors.

I also took a video of this to show how it really sparkles in the sun but the idiot that I am I messed it up and won’t be adding it to this blog post. I will start to do the videos with these hard to capture bling bling polishes though. I have a YouTube account now and I’ll be uploading some manicure videos over there in the future.

Jindie Nails – She Blinded me with Science

2

Late Saturday post for me cos I’ve had a busy day again. I just really wanted to show another new Jindie Nails summer shade to you guys. This is She Blinded me with Science and it has an insane (in a good way) amount of glitter in it.

Here’s the description from the Jindie Nails website: “It has a pale pink crelly base with multiple sizes of neon, holographic and metallic dots, squares, diamonds, rectangles and hex glitters.  This polish features small, medium and large silver holographic dots, small & medium & extra large matte black dots, large metallic turquoise dots plus lime green large metallic dots, white dots and moons plus matte gray moons”.

Yes, as I said, insane amount and it’s so cool! Jen is truly a genius when it comes to creating these amazing glitterbombs. Like all of her polishes, I absolutely love this one too. I looked at the bottle and just knew I would love it. So, so cool!

This is three thin coats of She Blinded me with Science, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

She Blinded me with Science has the same excellent crelly based formula as the other new summer shades so application was a piece of cake. There’s so much glitter that I let some of it fall back to the bottle to avoid getting it all stuck together to a one big lump. I also turned the bottle upside down to help get out the bigger glitters.

Jindie Nails Summer Chic Collection

12

Today I have some brand spanking new Jindie Nails polishes for you, the Summer Chic Collection. This collection has five awesome shades that are all unique and different from each other.

I also used Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat for these swatches. With all of these except Betty’s Fetti Milkshake, I turned the bottle upside down for a bit before the application to help the bigger glitter pieces to come out of the bottle easier. Descriptions are from Jindie Nails website.

So want to see them? Here we go!

Hex on the Beach
“White crelly base with matte, opaque baby pink, peach, red, orange, pastel yellow and canary yellow dots, diamonds & hex. This also has metallic copper & light pink dots & hex throughout plus a gorgeous peach shimmer”.

This is three thin coats with Glitter food and HK Girl top coat. Application was a breeze and I had no issues with it. Hex on the Beach has this beautiful peach-y shimmer that is very subtle and doesn’t really show up on my photos. The color combination on this just makes me smile :)

That Purple Ish

“It’s got a periwinkle purple base loaded with silver shimmer and an assortment of wine, purple, lilac, lavender, hot pink, navy and magenta dots, squares and hex “.

This is three thin coats with Glitter food and HK Girl top coat. Application was very easy with this one. The base is sheer so my long nails needed three coats to build it opaque. I love the periwinkle shade with a ton of shimmer and the big holographic dots give this one such sparkle when the light hits it right.

Quit Staring at my Melons!

“Glitter topper with matte kelly green, barbie pink, matte gray dots, watermelon pink & black dots plus smaller metallic light green and light pink dots.  Also has small and extra large matte black dots and small micro hex in matte kelly green, matte gray, barbie pink, black, watermelon pink. The base is a clear base with bits of real silver flakes and intense green shimmer”.

This is two thin coats over Delush Polish Finding Mr. Bright with Glitter Food and HK Girl top coat. Application was normal, no problems. This is such a gorgeous topper and the name, you gotta love the name! :D I really had to think about what polish to pair it with cos this one has so many colors in it. I ended up using Delush Polish Finding Mr. Bright and I think these two are a match made in heaven. Such a fruit-y fun looking combination. This glitter topper would also go great with a white base and I’m definitely going to try it with neon pink base.

Betty’s Fetti Milkshake

“White crelly base with all same size micro-matte hex in opaque pastels and opaque & transparent neon hex”.

This is three thin coats with HK Girl top coat. Application was very smooth. I did three coats but shorter nails can get away with two. Betty’s Fetti Milkshake is just super cute and fun looking polish! It makes me want to lick my fingers in case it tastes as sweet as it looks :D

Don’t Get it Citrus Twisted

“Bright neon green crelly with matte opaque kelly green, pastel yellow and canary yellow dots and extra large hex, neon pink hex and opaque baby pink dots and extra large hex with silver shimmer”.

This is again three thin coats with Glitter Food and HK Girl top coat. This is the only one that gave me a bit of problems on the application. The base color is quite sheer and I didn’t get it to look as smooth as I wanted. So the next time I will apply the first coat with very little glitter on it and as evenly as I can. Then I’ll let it dry well before applying the next coat. I always allow some dry time between the coats but I think that this time it wasn’t enough. Either way this polish is absolutely gorgeous, color combination is amazing and it’s totally worth the little extra time the application might take.

Jen has done it again! She has created such a beautiful solid collection that has a little bit of everything. I just love this collection and I can’t even pick a favorite polish out of these five shades. They are all different and I will use all of them again. The best part is there are more new summer shades and I have three more of them to show you soon enough!

Jindie Nails – Candy Land (Original)

0

Today I have a classic Jindie Nails polish for you, Candy Land (Original). This must be one of the most famous Jindie Nails polishes and for a good reason. It’s just awesome! White crelly polish with a lot of different size hex glitters in several neon colors. It’s so bright and fun!

This is three thin coats of Candy Land (Original), a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

I have read that some people had issues with the application but I experienced none. White crelly base applied very smoothly and evenly. I turned the bottle upside down for a bit before application and rolled it lightly. The neon glitter is very thin and sometimes the pieces get stuck together. If a big lump of glitter comes out of the bottle I just drop it back in there and dip the brush again. That way I had absolutely no trouble with the application.

Such a pretty polish!

I have a lot of Jindie Nails swatches coming up soon. Just received several bottles today, including some of the new summer shades and I’m gonna start working on the swatches asap :D

Jindie Nails – Hot Pink Floyd

2

Along with the new Spring Chic shades Jindie Nails released Matte Velvet Duo with sTEALth and Hot Pink Floyd. I have already reviewed sTEALth and today I have Hot Pink Floyd for you. Here’s how it’s described on Jindie Nails website “It has a super bright neon pink crelly base with iridescent, color shifting squares and hex in blue/purple/green.  It also has bits of real silver flakes throughout!”. Like in sTEALth, there’s lovely depth to this and it’s absolutely stunning with and without top coat.

This is three thin coats of Hot Pink Floyd alone and the last two photos have G & G HK Girl top coat.

With G & G HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat
With G & G HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat
Hot Pink Floyd has the same great formula as sTEALth and application is really smooth. Two coats would be enough for shorter nails but my longer one needed three thin coats.

Matte Velvet Duo is limited time so get yours while these pretties are still around!
