Happy hump day! Today it’s time for the letter O and my pick for that is Essie Ole Caliente from their Spring 2012 collection. Ole Caliente is a bright coral-y red creme. Such and awesome summer color. The formula on this is great. It applies smooth as butter! I used two coats for this mani but for shorter nails this is a one coater. I love these bright reds!
I have a ton of nail stickers and water decals that I never use so I decided to give them a try. I chose white Artclub stickers to decorate this manicure a little. I’m not sure how I feel about the outcome though. I think the reason I don’t use stickers much is because they, ehh, well they look like stickers LOL Not that there is anything wrong with using stickers, I think I just prefer acrylic paints or nail polishes for nail art like this. The stickers look very pretty and feminine but I think they also lack personality :P
For this mani I used two coats of Essie Ole Caliente and HK Girl top coat.
Tänään on vuorossa viikottaisen ABC haasteen O kirjain.

What a nice bright red, super shiny too!!! I know how you feel about stickers, they seem a bit generic, but I love how easy they are!! They are a nice touch to your mani though!
Thanks :) Yeah, stickers are really a superfast and foolproof way to decorate your manicure :)
Tosi ihana sävy! Ja nätit kynnet.
Kiitos Nunnu :)
Beautiful! And I agree about the stickers, but apparently I have to buy them every once in a while to remind myself, lol.
Thanks Dionne :)) Yeah, I keep buying them too for some reason :P
Love this, and I love the stickers too actually! That's probably because I'm not very skilled at nail art so stickers are an easy way out for me, but who knows. It's a lovely combo =)
Thank you :))
That red is so beautiful! I think you've done a good job using the stickers here but I know what you mean about them looking like stickers…not a lot to be done for it. Great job!
Thanks Natalie :)
That color is gorgeous on its own. The stickers look nice – if you are in a pinch for time, or you are artistically handicapped like me, they aren't a bad choice.
Thank you :)) LOL @ artistically handicapped :D
I think the stickers look great actually, although I've never used them myself.
And I am kinda envious that Essie works so smooth for you!
Thanks Simona :) I think I've been lucky with the few Essie's I've bought. They all apply so nice and smooth :)
Love this color! So great for summer. I think the stickers look fantastic!
Thank you :) This really is a perfect summer shade!
That is a really pretty red
Thanks Patty :))
Wow this is so pretty! I loved it with the stickers!
Thank you :))
That coral red is yummy!!
It really is :D
Wow I love the decals you added so cool!!
Thanks Nicole :))
Wow, Ole Caliente is gorgeous! :D And appropriate for every season!
Thank you :) You're absolutely right too, this looks perfect any time :)
Ria, those don't look like any stickers I've used. Those appear done by hand. Lovely stuff!
I'm such a klutz with that kind of nail art. Yours are perfect!!!! :)
Thank you Lisa :))
Wow, such a gorgeous red!! Looks amazing on your long nails, SEXY! I'm with you on the stickers, i'm not a fan either. The ones you used are very pretty though, especially the one on your ring finger!
Thanks Gini :)) I do like the ring finger one best too :)
