I’ve been complaining for a while how brown eyeshadow doesn’t look good on me anymore. Well now that my hair is blonde again I made them browns work. I chose warmer shades and added some golden sparkle in the middle of the upper lid and it looked just perfect. (more…)
Lately I’ve been wearing more colorful eye shadows cos I haven’t been feeling the brown/nude ones so much. I decided to give Urban Decay Naked Basics palette a try after a good while and this is what I came up with.
I have to say I’m still not feeling it. I liked how the soft eyeliner looked and the eye makeup in general but I just wanted to add a little bit of color. I ended up adding the color on my lips but it wasn’t enough. I’m definitely going to do this kind of makeup look again and use more color.
I also tried the new Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C Shine Control Creme-Gel I got in a subscription box earlier last week under this makeup and it didn’t work well. I used the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25H foundation and it didn’t apply over the Lumene cream nearly as well as it does over Philosophy Hope in a Jar. So all in all this was only a very average face day.
