A month has passed since I started my nail growing project. The tear on the thumbnail has now grown out and and the index fingernail finally grows healthier and doesn’t peel and break constantly. There’s still some acrylic damaged part left and some green spots that the green glitter acrylic dyed on the surface of my nails. For some reason my right hand nails were and still are in a better condition than my left hand nails so I’m using the left hand for the photos on this project. The right hand nails can be seen on the polish swatch photos.
I think that the green parts are gonna grow out during the next two weeks and there will be very little of the damaged part left. I hope I can soon start growing more lenght on my nails too.
To help my nails grow healthy and strong I’m still taking Biotin pills and using a lot of lotion and oils on my hands and nails. I keep my nails polished all the time cos that protects my nails and makes them stronger.
I still want to say this again.. acrylic nails don’t do that much damage to your natural nails if you remove then correctly, not as I did ;) My nails are naturally very thin and removing all the acrylic at once wasn’t very good for them.

Im on the Biotin aswell,havent noticed to much change,but I must admit my hair feels alot more healthier.Im taking 2,300mcg a day,plus im doing the whole cuticle creams and oils ahhhh! Go0d luck doll,its such a long process waiting for nails to grow.I hate my nails short I cant do anything with them and no polish looks g0od on me with short nails.Hope your well. Take care
Sagu: Kiitos :) Kyllä tosiaan näyttää jo paljon paremmalta kuin kuukausi sitten. Tuo peukalo oli tosi inhottava kun alkoi halkeamaan myös pystysuunnassa, mutta onneksi on nyt kasvanut noinkin tervettä.
Nailz-In-Auz: Hey there you! Thanks so much I'm really happy with the progress myself. Another month and my nails will be completely healthy and hopefully longer too. It just takes a lot of patience to grow your nails and I really don't like my short nails at all. Feels like most polishes look like crap on them too. Long nails look much better on me. People who have long nail beds can pull off short nails too but unfortunately I'm not one of them.
Biotin takes a while to start working so give it at least a month and you'll start seeing some results on your nails too. It also makes my lashes grow fuller!

Nailz-In-Auz: You're welcome hun :) Usually after a month (or even more) of taking biotin I can see a lot of new hair growing, my lashes seem fuller and my nails start to grow stronger and faster. It just really takes some patience to wait for the results.
Täälläpäin alkoi kanssa ksvatusprojekti. Kynnet oli niin ihanan pitkät, ja ennenkaikkea hyvässä kunnossa kunnes pienessä hiprakassa päädyin Ruisrockin kiipeilykilpailuun. Siinä sitten lähti koko etusormen tippi irti, joten ei auttanut muu kuin tänään lyhentään kaikki kynnet aivan lyhyiksi :(
