I already showed you my favorite products in January and today it’s time for the empties. There wasn’t a ton of empties this month. I do have a lot of products that are almost out and they will probably be done and over with by the end of February. Actually, I think there’s already a bigger pile of Feb empties by now than what I have on this post.

Either way, here’s what I ran out of in January:

RiaG Beauty Blog January 2017 empty cosmetics products

SIGNE SEEBID ORANGE BODY SCRUB

The best sugar scrub for my hands ever!! I love this so much!

Signe Seebid is a natural cosmetics brand from Estonia and all her products are hand made. Ingredients on this are: sugar, grape seed oil, glycerin, vitamin E and sweet orange essential oil. The smell is divine! This really smells like fresh oranges and it leaves your skin feeling so soft and smooth. I already purchased another one cos I can’t live without this.

SIM SENSITIVE DG MEGA FINISH HAIRSPRAY

I don’t really know what to say about this. It gets the job done! It’s perfume free and has a UV-filter. This has a pretty strong hold, it doesn’t leave white residue on my hair and washes off pretty easy. I haven’t been too picky about my hairsprays lately cos I don’t use that much of them, so I kinda tend to buy the first one that seems interesting. This was my second bottle of DG Mega Finish and I could buy another one. It’s pretty good really.

BATISTE HEAVENLY VOLUME DRY SHAMPOO

My HG dry shampoo. I liked the old XXL Volume version more than this but since it’s not available in Finland anymore, I use this. I always have a bottle of Batiste volume dry shampoo on my shelf. It gives so much volume and lift to my fine hair. I don’t really need to use hairspray after this when I tie my hair on a pony tail or a bun. Another can’t live without product.

AVON ANEW CLINICAL INFINITE LIFT DUAL EYE SYSTEM

This I didn’t actually run out of. There’s a bit less than half left on this. It got pushed on the back of the shelf and I’m so short that I couldn’t see it there and simply forgot about it. Now it’s gone bad. The scent and texture of the product has changed and it has to go. This was an ok eye cream. It has two products in one, hence the name. A gel for upper eye and brow bone and a cream for under the eyes. I think this wasn’t quite moisturizing enough for me. I liked the product but it wasn’t perfect for my needs so I guess that is why it got pushed to the back of the shelf.

CLARINS MULTI-ACTIVE NUIT NIGHT CREAM (**PR-sample**)

This one I loved! It was moisturizing enough for my dry skin and just felt so good. I don’t know how to explain the feeling but it just left my skin feeling extra good. My skin looked fresh and more even tone in the mornings after using this. There was also less irritation and redness. The scent was a bit strong but I liked it and it didn’t bother me. I had a 15 ml (0.05 Oz. Net Wt.) sample size of this and I have considered buying a full size one.

FOREVER LIVING PRODUCTS ALOE LIPS WITH JOJOBA LIP BALM

This has been my favorite lip balm for a while now and I think I still have one unopened one left. This is lightweight but also super moisturizing and just keeps my lips in perfect condition throughout the year. The scent is fresh and fruity. This balm gets really soft, really easy and when I’m home I always keep mine in the fridge. That way I use less product. When it gets super soft you can accidentally apply way too much cos it just melts on your lips. I’m not crazy about the pyramid marketing brand but as long as my sister sells these I’ll keep buying more cos this just works so well for me.

GARNIER RESPONS BODY EXTRA CARING LOTION HONEY TREASURES (**PR-sample**)

I got this from a beauty blogger meeting goodie bag last year and it was pretty good. I actually have at least two backups of this sitting in my beauty room :D This is a perfect every day body moisturizer. Absorbs quickly, smells really good (if you like honey scented products), moisturizes my skin well enough, easy to use pump bottle and a very affordable price tag. What’s not to love? I’ll keep buying more after I someday go through my existing stash of these.

HEDRIN PROTECT AND GO CONDITIONING SPRAY (FOR PREVENTING HEAD LICE)

This is not something I use but I threw it in here cos some of you other moms out there might want to check this out too. A while ago my daughter came back from pre-school with a warning note about head lice. I freaked out to say the least! Her hair is thick and so long it goes down to her hips.

Head lice in this hair would be a nightmare! So I ran in the local pharmacy and bought this Hedrin Lice preventing spray. So far so good, no lice!

This doubles as a conditioning spray so this is a sort of a leave-in-conditioner. You can use this on damp or dry hair. I use it in the morning after the hair wash cos it helps me untangle her hair and braid it. I use this on her hair after every hair wash so about twice a week. This is orange-mango scented and I really like the scent. It makes her hair smell nice and fruity but isn’t too strong. I recommend you check this out if you’re in a need of a head lice preventing and quick & easy to use product.
