Happy Sunday! I hope everyone’s is having a nice and relaxing weekend. Today I have swatches of a gorgeous piCture pOlish for you.

I decided to give up on the almond shape and took half the length off my nails to start going towards square shape. The nail shape right now is far from perfect cos I wasn’t willing to go super, super short at this moment. So I’m just going to keep them at this length till the rounded sides grow out and I can really file them square. The way they look right now annoys me but I’m still going to go ahead and take some nail photos every now and then while they grow into square.

Today’s polish is piCture pOlish Lagoon, a stunning turquoise glitter jelly. It also has a subtle scattered holo effect but it was pretty much invisible during these cloudy winter days. This was released in 2013 and it’s a collaboration with the blogger Fashion Polish.

The formula on this was perfect! Two easy coats dried quick and smooth. The best part? This was so easy to remove even if it has glitter in it. No staining either. The color is a somewhat deeper and more vibrant in real life though. This was one of those hard to capture accurately polishes.

I just love PP polishes. I have yet the try one that I didn’t like. If I had to choose only one brand for color polishes for the rest of my life PP could very well be it.

For this manicure I used two coats of Essie First Base, two coats of Lagoon and a coat of HK Girl top coat.
