Happy hump day ladies and gentlemen! On this cloudy and rainy Finnish morning I’ll show a colorful glitter explosion that is made to brighten up your day, Jindie Nails Eclectric. This is part of the Mod Quad Glitter Topper collection.

Here’s what Jen has to say about this one: “There are over 100 different shapes and bright colors in translucent neon and bright, opaque (non-transparent), pastel, matte glitters.  There are neon pink stars, hex, hearts, squares, neon green stars, squares, hex and dots, neon blue stars, short bars (sparse), squares, hex, neon orange short bars (very few) and hex, neon hot orange stars, short bars, hex and dots, white hearts, stars, hex, squares and short bars (just a few). opaque matte green dots and hex, opaque pastel pink dots and hex, opaque matte light purple dots, watermelon pink dots and hex,  opaque matte pastel yellow dots and hex, opaque matte canary yellow dots and hex, dark purple hearts, stars, hex and micro fibers (tiny bars and just a few), neon purple hex,  matte opaque peach dots and hex all in a clear base with neon blue and hot pink shimmer.  Polish is meant to be layered but looks great on a bare nail, since it’s packed full of glitter.  All bar glitters in this mix are the short bars that are not as pesky as the longer bar glitters.  I did not put a lot of bar glitters, just a few, so that it wouldn’t be a problem for anyone.  The bar glitters in this one are all short fibers, not the long, pesky ones”. Insane, right? :D

For this manicure I used two coats of Essie Licorice, two coats of Eclectric, a thin coat of Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl topcoat.

Eclectric is crazy packed with glitter but the application is still surprisingly good. All the glitter came out of the bottle easily. There wasn’t much need for dabbing or placing the glitters. This applied pretty evenly. I’m actually a bit tempted to try this alone and build it opaque on its own. You can layer this over any color possible. I chose the good old black cos it really makes the glitter colors pop.
