Happy Sunday lovelies! This is my first time taking part in FB Hobby Polish Bloggers group mani Link-Up. This month’s theme is of course Halloween and this is also my first Halloween mani for this year. So here’s what I did:

I have a UV-gel lay over on my nails so I didn’t use a base coat. I started by applying two intentionally patchy coats of O.P.I. I Just Can’t Cope-Acabana yellow creme polish. I also used a small dotting tool to scratch some polish off right after application from where I was going to apply darker orange later. This gave a little more dimension to the base. After the yellow base I applied one coat of O.P.I. Y’All Come Back Ya Hear? a quite sheer orange jelly. Then I used a thin nail art brush to apply stripes of darker orange using O.P.I. A Roll In The Hague, a bright orange creme. Without giving the polish any time to dry I applied another coat of O.P.I. Y’All Come Back Ya Hear? I made sure to put some pressure on the brush blending the colors together a little. Then I cleaned up my cuticles and applied a coat of HK Girl top coat.

After the manicure was completely dry I used Pure Color No 10 nail art brush and black Oumaxi acrylic paint to do the Jack-o’-lantern nail art.
